Detox Diet Menu

The detox diet menus below provide basic guidelines about how to eat during your detox diet. These menus are a great tools to help you structure your detox. Having a guide for what you will eat is one of the keys to your success in completing the detox. This is an incredibly flexible menu that will give you the guidelines you need, while still allowing you versatility and creativity when you are deciding what to eat (or drink) during your detox.

How to Use this Menu

The detox diet menu can be varied based on the type of cleanse you are doing. For example, if you are doing a liquid detox, only select the liquid items from the menu. Each menu recommends a protein drink which you would have during breakfast, lunch and dinner,. But you would not select the edible items from the menu. raw or slightly cooked. If you are doing a detox with vegetables and fruit, the menu below provides options for you to create a menu with just drinks, fruits and vegetable. You would not select fish or turkey bacon for your choice. If your detox calls for eliminating any food group, simply delete that food from the menu below and build your detox based on the remaining foods.

Remember to eat primarily organic, whole foods, with no preservatives. Foods should also be raw or slightly cooked. Also, water is always an important ingredient of a detox. Drink at least eight 8 ounce glasses of water throughout the day, sipping not gulping. The detox tea is recommended during the detox to help you to further detoxify.
